Shadows on a dance floor...

It's only the second day of the new year but already I've learned a bitter truth; I am indeed a gullible fool where those I love are concerned. An event this morning has left me feeling like a complete idiot BUT it has taught me a valuable if very painful lesson.

It seems I only learn the hard way.
