I took some photos in RAW the other day and have only just got around to editing them. It's a first for me (shooting in RAW). It's fine for doing flowers and the like but my camera takes ages to write the RAW files so it's a slow process - wouldn't be suitable for more reactive stuff.
Today we had over 25 mums and babies to our Bounce & Rhyme session. And just ME leading it as my colleague who does it with me was off on leave. I was terrified - I don't know why I'm so nervous when I do this every week. When you can't sing it's hard to do it in public, in front of a crowd. But the mums are so appreciative and I'm ok once I've got started.
Time for my evening walk now.

This is a beautiful photograph J - just wonderful. I think you did a great job! Hope you keep shooting in RAW (will you teach me?).
{{{HUGS}}} Glad your Bounce & Rhyme session went well today - I'm sure you were fantastic! Keep smiling - you're terrific.

oooh...bet you felt really happy with yourself after the bounce n rhyme session...and then out for a walk?? Amazing! I only use RAW for my photos now, it took me ages to get used to it but I did and you eventually can't think about going back to jpgs! :^) You did a great job on that tulip too!
Great picture! I love the black background....and the vibrant pink and hte flower. Nice combination...
This is beautiful, pink is my favorite color.
What camera are you using? I have the 20D Canon and I shoot everything in RAW plus small JPeg (saves me making thumbnails for quick scanning of the shots to see what I want and what I dont want). I only use the JPegs really unless I want a larger file for stock purposes or for printing or if I mess up an exposure and like a shot and it is saveable using the RAW converter. The small JPeg is big enough for use on the internet.
I really need to set up a small studio and get some flowers.
Nice work
Lori
Beautiful shot.I like a lot!Great colors and light.I love the black background.Great job!
I haven't tried RAW yet, CG. I really like your photo today.
How long is the Bounce & Rhyme session and is there a lot of activity like bouncing? Sounds very interesting!
RAW format definitely agrees with you: this photo is exquisite. The detail, light and color are all so spot on. I feel as if I can reach out and touch the petals...and they'll feel incredibly soft when I do.
Consider me inspired. Again. Your photography is wonderful.
So beautiul; vibrant colour. Bounce & Rhyme sounds fun for the kids.
