Today I put some work up for sale on Red Bubble (see links in sidebar). I actually joined back in October but never got around to uploading large enough images for them to actually be sold. I don't have any great expectations of selling anything but it's worth a try...!

Today has flown by. I rushed around like a mad thing this morning tidying the house then did some photo editing/uploading before going off to RDA. This evening was spent cooking, washing up and ironing - yuck. Phil is away over night.

We had an earthquake here in the UK last night...I slept through it! The last time we had one, Phil was away and I awoke to find the wardrobe shaking. In my groggy, barely-awake state, I assumed it was a poltergeist. I lay there very still and afraid until sleep over took me again. I felt very foolish in the morning and decided not to mention my nocturnal visitor. On the way to school I met up with some friends. "Did you feel the earthquake?" they asked. "Oh was it an earthquake?" I replied. "Thank God for that, I thought it was a poltergeist. They all seemed to find that VERY amusing!!

On a course for the next two days so I'm off for an early-ish night :)

Hope you sell lots of your work. Its very good and I can tell it gives you a lot of pleasure.
Its very unusual for you to have an earthquake, isn't it? Glad everything is ok.

Great photo. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you were able to sell some of your work.

I've had one brief experience with an earthquake and I don't care to repeat it, ever. Better than having a poltergeist though, I think!

I'll check out the red bubble site. How cool to have work good enough to even be considered for sale. Congrats.

I was in a taxi on the LA Freeway and the car started swerving a bit. I bit my tongue and held on and finally the driver said "well, that was a little one" - "a little one?" I asked. "Earthquake" he answered.

I was so relieved, I thought he was drunk! ;)

First off, what the heck is that in the photo? I like it, it's certainly eye catching, but I have never seen anything like it. Knowing me, it's something everyone in the world knows but me.

Poltergeist? You've been watching too many scary movies. It is a funny story though. I can't say I wouldn't have the same thought though. I'm mentally twisted like that as well.

Living 40 miles south of Kennedy Space Center, the Space Shuttle often returns from space and ends up on final approach coming from the south toward the north, right over our home. When it does, there's a HUGE double-boom of the sonic booms following the Shuttle after it came back down (speed-wise) through the sound barrier. It is by far the most intense sonic boom you can ever hear. It always makes us jump, and when our oldest daughter still lived with us, we'd blame her for the noise, because she was a notorious klutz and often fell against or knocked something against the wall of her room. She would get so mad at us, but we'd forget the Shuttle was due in. At any rate, the dogs freak out and run in circles barking when it happens. It's just the Shuttle returning, not Rebekah falling in her room this time.
