Claudia of "Everyday kindness" was kind enough to give me this lovely award! I would like to pass it on to all my kind blogfriends who encourage and support me in everything I do. So please, display this on your sidebar if you'd like it, with my love!
Today's picture is another cactus shot from Ness Gardens.
I'm waiting for the next phase of the storm to hit. Yesterday it was the southern part of the uk who got the worst of it; tonight it's apparently our turn. I'm dreading going to bed in the attic, without Phil, so I may set up the airbed in Sian's room instead.
It was very windy on the front at West Kirby today. Not many people braved the high winds and the spray. Still, it's always better to get out into the fresh air at lunch time then stay inside, I think.
We have a warm house and hot water again; BLISS! Honestly, until you have no hot water you don't appreciate what a miracle it is to have this "on tap".

All of the wind the UK is experiencing must be coming from across the pond with our political debates and all.....
That cactus looks like a little cake with spines!
I live in windy Kansas, so I understand what you're going through. Kansas is named for the Konza Indians, whose name means "people of the south wind". All of our trees lean north!
LOL at quiet rage - maybe the UK needs to put up a fence along the pond's edge, keep our toxins on our side!
rumor has it Bush knows a guy who can do a giant fence for real cheap...
well deserved award my friend.
