Stourhead
On the Monday of our week in Bath, we went to Stourhead.
We had a great time, although I forgot to put the picnic lunch in the car, leaving it instead resting peacefully on the kitchen table! the day threatened rain but as we walked around the lake the sun shone, despite the oppresive clouds. The views were stunning and this is one of my favourites.
And these are the last pigs...I promise!
Piguana
The weather has been just awful these past few days and doesn't look as if it's about to change for the better any time soon. I try not to obsess about the weather but this summer has been so bad lately it's hard not to feel shortchanged on a bit of sunshine to tide us through the winter months. There's no denying a sunny day raises the spirits and I could do with that now!
I think I need to go and see "Mamma Mia" again!

Did you have the picnic lunch for tea?
The last of the pigs??? Oh no, I've really enjoyed them.
Don't start me off about the weather - it's abyssmal - with only a week and a half left before I have to go back to work I need some sun!
You should look into getting some light therapy. I think it would help me through the winter, too!
I've enjoyed seeing the pigs too :D
Yep, I'm sick of the rain aswell. The weather's only saving grace was that it stayed dry all day on Sunday.. every single day other than that it's rained!!
I hope you start to feel better soon. Have you got Abba Gold on CD? Put that on full blast, you won't be able to help but sing along and smile while you're doing it
Hugs
