This is another flower from the photo session with T yesterday. I can't really take much credit for it!!
Today didn't start so well with and I've been sad pretty much the whole day. I feel annoyed with myself as my mood has meant I've been distracted and haven't achieved much - basically I've wasted a day; and a day I'll never get back. It seems wrong somehow.I've also been worrying about T who sees the surgeon today.
Still, I'm visiting C tonight - we are going out for a drink (Diet Coke for me as I'm driving!) and I'm looking forward to catching up on her news.
Will try and not let tomorrow go to waste. My friend JS has set me a challenge to do with apertures and a set of chessmen to photograph so maybe I'll have a go at that.

{HUG} Hope you feel cheerier soon.
I love this gerbera photo - beautiful against the black background, and great composition.
Enjoy your evening out!

(((HUGs))) from me too, I need one as well so it is for both of us LOL.
Beautiful picture. We all have days like this so dont think of it as wasted, just look to tomorrow and be positive (I am trying to live by that standard too with varying degrees of success!!). Would love to see the results of your chess pieces and apperture experiments. Enjoy your evening.

Wonderful floral photo - composition, details, and lighting!
Beautiful flower....I love the pink and black. :)
I think it's OK for us to have the occasional bad day. Life goes in cycles, and it's inevitable that it bottoms out every once in a while.
That you have the ability to recognize it and fight it says much about your strength of character.
Oh yes, that and the fact that you are an incredible photographer. I saw your link on Anna's and am so happy that I took the time to take a closer look.
I look forward to seeing and reading more, and invite you to do the same.
