I find Anna's photography very inspiring and Anna often looks UP at what's above her. So she was my inspiration for this photo, taken in the Natural History Museum.

The second photo is also from the same place.

P & got a new lens yesterday - a Nikkor 70-300mm. Am really looking forward to trying it out.

S had more problems at school. I am getting so worried. It's so hard to see her so upset and not know how best to help her...

That first shot is magnificent. To think that something that is an inanimate structure can be so beautiful....a very "classy" photo. Sorry to hear S is still having problems...is there some special person you can liaise with at the school about whatever the problem is. I know sometimes children don't like Mum going to their teacher.

What a stunning shot that first one is! The tones and lines are magnificent. It's amazing how much more we "see" when we're using our cameras.

Sorry to read that S is still having a difficult time at school - here's hoping things get better for her very soon. It's a heartwrenching time.

Enjoy that lens - it sounds great!

I like the top one, but don't have a clue as to what the bottom one is.

Sorry about the school problems. My younger daughter is supposed to graduate from high school Saturday morning. I still won't believe it until I see the diploma with her name on it. Lots of issues over the years with her and school.
