I liked the contrast between traditional and modern here. It's been a busy week; still not feeling 100% but am glad it's the weekend.
The Wildcat kindly invited me and the girls to join her family on their October holiday as P will be away on his commission work. Sadly we ran into problems with accomodation and we can't go - but the offer really made our day. It's quite something when friends invite you to go on holiday with them and I was really touched.

Love the photograph. How lovely that your friends invited you to go away - it does mean a lot.
Hope you continue to feel better over the weekend, have a good one. x
Hope you continue to improve. Such a shame about the holiday but so lovely of your friends to ask. Lynn and Steve are off to Cuba tomorrow...wonder if I could smuggle myself into their suitcase :o)
I really like this photo....the old building is beautiful and really highlights the beauty of the new....which would probably look quite stark on its own.

I hope you're feeling better. Had a little round of something myself yesterday and this morning, so I know how it is.
San Francisco is a beautiful city. Haven't been in years but I enjoyed it when I was there.
*peeks out from behind her camera* Is that HUGE spider gone yet? LOL It made me jump when I scrolled down to read posts I missed and spotted her. I am REALLY frightened of spiders!
{{HUGS}} Hope you're feeling 100% again soon. Wonderful photo today; great juxtaposition of old and new.
xoxo
