These are two views of one of my very favourite places in California; Bodega Bay. The magnificent thriller, "The Birds" was set here and in nearby Bodega Town which we drove through but sadly didn't stop for photos - as the school house in the film is still there! Bodega Bay was one of the first places A & W took us on our first trip to CA and on this trip it was where we went on our last day. It was one of those bittersweet days - happy but also sad as it was the end of our holiday and almost time to say good bye to our friends for what will probably be several years...
It's been a busy weekend - work yesterday and then today we were visiting P's parents. Tomorrow after the gym and aerobics I'm hoping to do some gardening...I have new plants to plant!!

Gorgeous seascapes, Jules.
Great ocean shots. This could be the Oregon coast.
New plants! Exciting :) You'll have to show us the pictures when you get the planted.

I've never been there, but I love your photos. I especially love the mixture of ruggedness and beauty.
