DAZZLED!
I had the most amazing day yesterday. From arriving at the bride's mother's home, where we did "getting ready" photos to the emotion and excitement of the "first dance" almost twelve hours later, I loved every moment. It was a real privilege to see such an assured and talented photographer at work. It was also really special to feel (even if in truth I wasn't) an integral part of the wedding itself.

The bride and groom, their family and friends, were such lovely people. I had such a fantastic time! i thought all my photos would be useless but many of them are much better than I expected. The one above is just a bit of fooling around (I copied Andy!) in the Function Room while we were waiting to do the cake-cutting. They are blue fairy lights left out of focus...
I'm a very happy Julie tonight :)

I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself. Your confidence and photographic talent seem to increase daily. Your images are always a delight.

I've been a bad blog friend lately, and for that I apologize. I'm feeling a bit like a headless chicken these days, trying to wrap up my work year before Dec. 11th which is my last day at work. I also have to PACK! We leave for Toronto in 10 days :)

That's a pretty photograph it reminds me of when I was a child. If I was out with Mum and Dad in the dark I used to walk along with my eyes half closed looking at the street lights so it would make them look like stars!

Hi Julie,
Still that watery picture (which I love) i thought 'lets visit you again' but you might be busy:)

I showed today something really DUTCH, we celebrate it mostly for the children a "Sinterklaas" evening with presents and sweet candies, The Sinterklaas and his helpers are all dressed up for the children, come and see:)

Greetings see you:) JoAnn
