December sunrise
I was awestruck by the wonderful scene from my bedroom window this morning. What an amazing sunrise!

I had a wonderful evening out with Carolyn last night. We talked and talked! The time just flew by. And tomorrow I'm meeting another friend in Chester for lunch. I'm looking forward to that as well. Phil is in Birmingham overnight and I miss him. I've been trying to get the house sorted this afternoon.

Kitchen progress has ground to a halt. The tiling is partly done but i have noticed a few scratches on the sides of my new wall units. I'm really annoyed by this. I have no idea when the kitchen men are returning. Right now we are waiting for them to call us back.

How annoying when the people you hire blackmail you by making their own decisions and not checking with you.
Half finished stuff is hard to live in so I'm glad you can be out and about with friends.
That is one gorgeous sky..breathtaking.

I'm awestruck, too. This picture quite simply took my breath away when I first saw it. No surprise, mind you: your eye has a way of capturing beauty in ways that never fail to surprise and delight.

I'm sending honesty vibes to the kitchen men. I hope they quickly learn the value of empathy - and its ability to build repeat business with clients.

It really is a beautiful sunrise.

Sorry about the scratches on the cabinets. I bet Lowe's done it. LOL They sometimes have different kinds of contractors working for them.

You might be able to match the original color by going back to the company who made the cabinets.

I like your blog. Very nice.

Hi CG...

So glad to be back. It will be an intermittant "back" though as I will be travelling off and on to Virginia! ;)

I hope you and Phil have a lovely Christmas. That's really awful about your cupboards.

Was it a stormy day later on..?

Ooooh I love these types of sunrises. When I do get up early enough we have some nice ones around here, but I am not a morning person LOL. Beautiful.

Sorry you are having contractor problems, that is the pits.

Keep warm.
