I am so proud of Phil; he has the cover photo on Country Life Magazine (see above!) and lots of photos in an article inside...only problem is the called him PAUL in the credit for the cover!!

It's been a funny day. As it's Orange Wednesday 9 two cinema tickets for the price of one!) I decided to take the girls and a friend to see "Angus, things and perfect snogging". Kate read all the books by Louise Rennison that the film is based on and I think we all really enjoyed it.

I love having the girls off but I hate their bickering. And it's constant; like a nasty undercurrant to everything we do. It's wearing me down and it's only the second week of the holidays...

On a brighter note, I heard from A yesterday, and the couple whose wedding we photographed on 12th July sent him a lovely email saying nice things about us, plus they loved their photos. You can imagine how happy that made me!

What luck to get published and they get your name wrong!

I remember the bickering kids days. Well actually my kids are adults now and still bicker but its kiddingly.. I think.

This too, shall pass.

Oh, how wonderful for Phil!!
That cover looks LOVELY!

And how nice for you to get wonderful feedback from the wedding couple. Too often we have good experiences and never let those know who were instrumental in making those good experiences.

Sorry the kids are bickering....I do think that is something they will grow out of. It used to be CONSTANT with my son (17 now) and daughter (15 now)...but they are the best of friends now.

Congratulations to Phil! That's just super!

I know what you mean about the bickering thing. Sometimes I have to remind my older boys that they are the OLDER boys. Grr.

Congratulations Phil!! Nobody does their homework anymore - they should have double checked his name but that's OK - you guys can find a way to use it to your advantage. Send out a mailing making a joke of it - it'll be marketing without being marketing

I would try to just turn a deaf ear to the bickering - my nieces do it all the time. I think it's part of their communication style :)

What a shame the magazine got Phil's name wrong, but how wonderful that his photo made the front cover!

I'm so pleased for you that the wedding photos made such an impression with the couple involved - you should believe in yourself more m'deario, you're really good!

wowee! Go Pa...erm...Phil! I know what it's like to get published, it feels great! I do the photos for Yarn forward magazine. It is thrilling! As for that film, Maisie keeps asking me to take her to see it, I suppose I might!
