Project Black - check out Anna's blog to find out all about it!

Oh the happiness that is a new pair of shoes! And when you're thirteen and just got your first really high heels - well, you just need to walk around and show them off!

I'm quite glad this week is nearly over. I am counting the minutes until Phil returns. The bad weather is getting me down too. At the moment I'm sitting at my desk in jeans, wool socks and a hooded sweatshirt - it doesn't feel, or look, like July!

ooh lucky Sian (or is it Kate?) I can't walk in heels anymore, which is a major sulk as I need them to make me a half decent height. looks like she has quite long legs too.

This weather is awful isn't it Julie?! it's been wet and horrible here every day for almost 2 weeks (apart from Sunday just gone), I haven't got as far as the wool socks and hoodie yet but I've given up sitting round in shorts and vest tops in favour of trackies and a t-shirt.

Classy shoes for your daughter. My 13 year old granddaughter had to do the same thing. It does make me feel older though.
Great project black.

Cool heels!! and the jeans are pretty nifty too.

Nifty? Did I just say nifty? Oh the horror of being uncool.

I know you want some summer but I'd gladly trade with you. It hasn't rained in days, even watering isn't helping my lawn, the sun is relentless, the heat and humidity are making me very cranky.

I never could walk in those things... weak ankles and flat feet. But they do look cool. And there is something very exciting about first high heels. As for weather, be careful what you wish for. It is very hot and hideously humid here. Needing a sweater sounds really lovely at the moment.

Very nifty shoes!! (OK so I am giving away my age using that word LOL)

Sorry you are having such lousy weather, I know the feeling we always have the extremes here and not much of the autumn and spring seasons. I would also welcome some rain. Everyone around us has had flooding but we in the north east corner of Indiana seem to have dodged most of the really bad weather. It is really hot here at the moment.

((((Hugs))))) and look after yourself.

Maisie wore her first high heels at our wedding, she loved them so much but I did notice they had come off when she was dancing! How lovely they look. Blooming weather, let's hope it warms up soon!
