As I am busy resting; I've been able to observe a master in the art of resting honing his craft - Basil. I think Basil manages to sleep 23 hours out of every 24!

I walked home from the hairdressers today after having my roots done. I used my walking stick and it was ok. Tomorrow I'm going to try a walk around the block. It's frustrating when last week I was working out, doing aerobics and walking a couple of miles most days. I swear I can feel myself getting fatter by the minute. But at least it seems as if I'm on the mend - touch wood!

Hey there Compulsive! I just noticed that you signed up to be a follower on my blog - another compulsive act on your part since I'm not the one to follow - I'm always lost and I refuse to stop and ask for directions. Seriously - thank you. I am honored.

A picture of pure contentment.
Happy to hear you are on the mend. Hang in there.

Glad you are up to a bit of walking already. You have become a resourceful photographer, even if I got a bit confused between the cat and the feather duster, and which does what.

look at that sweet face

Siren is pretty active but Mia sleeps most of the day as well

so glad you're getting about, take it easy and continued mending :)

Glad to hear you are on the mend. Unfortunately those types of injuries tend to be happen more easily once you have torn those tendons or whatever the first time. Have you thought of a pair of boots that lace up the ankles a little ways. I love wearing these types of boots and it will also give your ankle extra support. I am not sure if you are a dresses and high heels person or a denims and T shirt one LOL (I am the latter). Also an ankle support (elastic type) will also help to prevent this happening again.

Always in my thoughts. ((((Hugs))))

I love the kitty kat! And NO you are NOT getting fatter by the minute. You just had an unfortunate 'side step' as we say.
