Sunday February 12th
While visiting my friend T we watched a movie called "In her shoes". The movie was ok but the highlight for me was the recitation of this poem which i had not heard before but think is beautiful.
T helped me with this carnation photo.
i carry your heart with me
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

Oh my...a truly beautiful poem...I have written a sort of poem to all the friends I once had that have totally blanked me since I left my ex of 30 years..I wish I was brave enough to post it in my blog....
Your carnation photo has Tal's name written all over it! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next as I'm sure you'll interpret what Tal showed you, into your own style. :^) I still want to make you a cardi! I'm not expensive you know lol
Hi Julie
I am so glad that your visit with Natalya went well and I am sure it perked her up no end.
I love the carnation. Wish I could come visit and see how she works because she is a master at these. If I was still in London it might have been an option but I am too far away now.
