I guess I'm going to be limited for cat images for Catblogging Friday now we only have Shea but here's a pic of him asleep on the stairs - I hope he gets bored with this spot as if he doesn't one day I'll fall over him for sure!

We have pretty much decided we'll get another cat as soon as we can make it up to Cumbria to our friends Animal Rescue organisation, Pets Lifeline. For now we're letting Shea sleep with us in case he is lonely which has his disadvantages as the other night I accidentally nudged him with my foot and he bit it - ouch!! Not a good way to wake up in the middle of the night!

Another beautiful sunny day here but the tide was in so no walk around the Marine Lake. Work is going ok but I'm glad it's nearly the weekend...

many moons ago I lived in Jersey with my husband and three young children, we lived in a flat, the top floor, and to get to the washing machine i had to go down a fire escape and then across a yard to the laundry room. On warm sunny days, we had loads of them in Jersey, a cat used to bask about half way down the fire escape, there were four flights to the bottom. I hated that cat, the first time I walked down with my laundry in a basket her was fine, then next time he sissssed at me so then I got a bit cautious and tried to creep past him and he played dead...until I got on the same step as him and he attacked me!! It was very scary you know!!

Love the cat photo. It's a very good shot, and if that's his favorite place, it's a good representation of him.

I hate to admit it, but I'm always aware that I'll probably outlive our pets, and try to photograph them in locations typical of them so that in years to follow, I can see them as they were most happy.

Hope your foots ok..{{HUG}} Shea certainly looks comfy on the stairs...cats have a way of looking comfortable anywhere.

I've always prefered dogs but I love the way cats drape themselves!
