I found a trio of very happy-looking mating frogs in the pond this morning! So I'm hoping for a nice crop of frogspawn soon. This is another photo of P's - I think it's really good especially considering it was taken with the compact camera - I'd have dropped it in the pond probably. I will try my hand at frog photos soon though.Maybe with the camera in a plastic bag!

I finally did something I've been meaning to do for months. I rang Riding for the Disabled and asked to be considered as a volunteer. I'm going along next Wednesday for a trial. I'm really excited - I hope I can do this!!

I also did my first training walk for the Race For Life today. J and I did about four miles - we had a great time! We were lucky with the weather and made quite good time.I'm hoping to not find the actual race as painful as last time; when I was afraid i wouldn't be able to continue.

I love frogs and I know your photos will outshine mine but I'll still keep snapping away every chance I get. Lynn did the race for Life last year.....let me know how to sponsor you when the time comes.

Love this little guy, maybe you should have given him a kiss and he would have turned into a prince!! He sure looks friendly and his little eyes seem to be beckoning for attention. I like the duck weed around him and on him it completes the shot nicely. Tell P well done. Hey if you dont want to get too close just get a nice long zoom lens LOL.

Riding for the disabled is wonderful. Ihavent done it for many years but when I was a teenager the riding school I rode at used to donate their horses and students who wanted to help to the disabled and we would take them for rides. The joy on their faces is wonderful. They have a blast, you will love it.

I have never been involved in Race for Life, good for you, even if you dont complete it, you have at least made the effort, that is what counts, so many people never do.

Love the frog photo! It is a good thing that he isn't here because it is too cold!

Best of luck with your riding and walking projects! I know that you will do well.

Great to hear about your volunteer trial this week! What a wonderful thing to donate your time to, and ofcourse, I'm sure hanging with the horses is a nice little perk too :)
