It's great to have Phil home. The house feels "right" again. We had a great Sunday dinner last night; full of conversation and laughter.

I took this photo in the cactus house at Ness Gardens. I'm very fond of cacti.

My Helsby friends and I have just signed up for this year's Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK. Time to start training...

I have joined the Everyday Kindness Blog roll (see sidebar!) The idea is to try to do one small act of kindness every day. It can be as simple as letting someone take your place in a queue, smiling at someone in the street...

I'm glad Phil is home. I know how odd it seems when one's husband is away. Just not right. The Everyday Kindness thing sounds like a good idea. Doing nice things for other people takes one out of one's self, doesn't it?

I'm on the Everyday Kindness blogroll too - it doesn't take a lot but it sure makes you feel good! Glad to hear Phil's home and you're happy. x

I like cacti too. Started because they are one of the few plants I can truly care for and will thrive in my house but now I appreciate the textures and colors and shapes. Another great photo.

and welcome to the Everyday Kindness circle - while we don't need the blog roll to be kind it is a nice place/way to share our little moments and to meet more bloggers with similar hearts and minds.

and so happy that you had a lovely Sunday dinner.

Great shot of all the prickles. Nature is so fascinating.
Glad your hubby is home. Enjoy your time.

This cactus almost looks like some kind of undersea creature.
