It's great to have Phil home. The house feels "right" again. We had a great Sunday dinner last night; full of conversation and laughter.

My Helsby friends and I have just signed up for this year's Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK. Time to start training...
I have joined the Everyday Kindness Blog roll (see sidebar!) The idea is to try to do one small act of kindness every day. It can be as simple as letting someone take your place in a queue, smiling at someone in the street...

I'm glad Phil is home. I know how odd it seems when one's husband is away. Just not right. The Everyday Kindness thing sounds like a good idea. Doing nice things for other people takes one out of one's self, doesn't it?

I don't have to be on a blogroll to be kind, I try to do soemthing nice for someone every day.

I like cacti too. Started because they are one of the few plants I can truly care for and will thrive in my house but now I appreciate the textures and colors and shapes. Another great photo.
